You know what sucks?

When you're out with one of your best friends discussing some really painful things about a friendship you once had with another person... And you realize that your friend is right when she tells you that the friendship you used to have with this other person is now dead. And that it will, most likely, forever remain dead.

Because the person I want back in my life doesn't exist anymore. She's completely changed and so have I...

The friendship that once existed between Melissa and I will never exist again... Because we are completely different individuals than we used to be... We may never even speak again. And I have to accept that. I have to accept the fact that the person who used to be my closest, dearest friend is nothing but a memory. The friendship that helped make me a stronger, healthier person is no more. It never will exist again. Never in the way it did before...
