Sorry, I'm not a bit active. My internship just started a week ago, and I haven't got time to draw (I really really want to, I swear) so here's the doodles I made during my spare time while I'm there:

First off, sorry for the slightly depressing subject matter. Second of all, I got slightly obsessed thinking about Rose Tyler’s history. The first character we meet in the revival is a super cute, bright 19 year old girl of low-to-medium socioeconomic class. Great. But this is also a girl who doesn’t really see any potential in her future. She ran off with a boy and dropped out of high school…. because she doesn’t have any great hopes and dreams for her future anyway. She wasnt raised in an environment that really cultivated her potential. She leaves Jimmy and settles with her childhood best friend because he’s there and convenient and she doesn’t hold herself in high enough esteem to hope for anything more than what she already has and Mickey is nice and likes her. She is bright and clever and kind and has a vicious sense of justice and apparently kicks ass at a top secret organization (not to mention her previous space hopping/ Bad Wolf-ing/ problem solving/ life saving adventures). So here is our brilliant girl pre-doctor, at 16 or so during her Jimmy days before she realizes how amazing she is.
