32. Do they have any “props” that are a significant part of their life, identity, activities, or self-presentation somehow? What are they, how are they used, and why are they so significant? How would these props’ absence impact them, how would they compensate, and why?

one prop in particular i can name is danny’s wrist watch. his parents got it during one of their travels to the mainland before he was even born, and it was his dad’s. it mostly serves as memorabilia of them  ( even though at this point, it’s more of a must-need accessory to danny’s wardrobe without second thought ).  uncle donnie found it when he rummaging through their house  and gave it to danny boy.  it doesn’t work but danny still likes to wear it after hearing how much his dad had it on.  

it acts as a memorabilia even if those ‘memories’ of danny’s dad are very faded things he can partly remember of them. it’s like more of him fantasizes about how his parents were -- even how they’ll be if they ever do come back  --  whenever he’s looking at the dead watch.   

if the watch was absent danny would just feel a bit weird since,  in a way,  it being gone makes him realize how much comforted  he was when it was on. he would make sure to look out for his watch though and find it if it were lost.
