nobody is reading yona so I'm on the yona reddit of all places and the debate is "I still hate suwon" BRO. it's not that he's no longer guilty. it's not that he's forgiven. the characters don't forgive him either!! the engaging thing about him is that he's so smart and so capable and yet he fell into this perfectly avoidable tragedy. that he still yearns and regrets and has to live with something worse than their anger and resentment or punishment. he has to live with pity. he has to live knowing he cost their relationship the thing he realized he cherished most and like...for what? he's still probably gonna die and it still won't have been worth it. there's nothing he can do now no matter how hard he's trying to make it worth it. don't you like that?
