Preparing for the defense of DOOM

SO THIS IS IT.

I just realized the other day that if I don't get into a PhD program, this COULD be the last school thing I ever do. That is just a little too much.

The whole seminar is two days long and we have to discuss the other thesis proposals and the other thesis. The other lady in my program isn't "finished" - and reading her "work in progress" honestly makes me wonder if she will ever figure out what she is supposed to do. I know I am clueless about some things but honestly...

This week has really gone by...strangely. I think it has been Eurovision that has sustained me. Thank GOD for Eurovision. I think I could argue about Eurovision better than my own text...

Some of the thesis proposals are good. Some are not. I think I have put together some good questions to ask them. I need to try my best to comment on everyone's just so I am noticed. That will help my grade.

I am not done reading the other thesis. It made me so SAD to see how polished his text is while mine has some stupid mistakes because I was so obsessed with getting rid of the passive voice that I ran out of time to hunt down the little errors that pop up in editing (missing words for one.) I honestly wish I could change my text with the comments after and get a grade that way. It pains me to think that I have to send something so...horrible with applications.

I am going to make my powerpoint tomorrow and read through my text thoroughly. It is going to be a PAINFUL day tomorrow. I don't even know where to START with preparing.
