#doowitzer#Howie takes risks he honestly doesn't need to in the name of making a name for himself#Everyone around him has said 'one day one day one day' so much that even in his early 20's he's still waiting for his one day#Jack transfers into Howie's division and is ???#Don't let people talk you into that kind of stuff what the hell is wrong with you#Jack hates it and will actively tell people to back off of him#And people do because Jack Doogan is Jack Doogan#Howie is a people person and excellent at communication but doesn't have the stomach for grifting or the clear mind for emergencies#So he's basically stuck here being a Generally Nice Dude with nothing else to show#Aside from his solid loyalty and tolerance for pain#But Howie's never been one to play the victim and his perseverance is one thing Jack falls in love with quickly
