Whaddup fam! Some of you may know that i participate and dance in cultural dances. This year April 15 (SATURDAY BEFORE EASTER) I'll be performing one last time in about 6 dances or so. Mostly being culture dances. Dances from Filipino suites such as Maria Clara, Mountain, Moro, and Rural. I am also the coach and helped choreographed the Tinikling Routine this year. I'd really love for you guys to come and support. It is also a play. It's $16 (please contact me if interested for tickets) So if you wanna see me dance in a Bahag, Barong, and dance like a seagull please come thru! It's at the Fox Riverside theater doors open at 5; it's from 6-9. #doPCN #OffTrack

What does it mean to be in Katipunan

Katipunan is a Filipino organization located at UC Riverside. The club is an open org and allows anyone to join, whether you are Filipino or not. The club has numerous activities throughout the year such as Friendship Games in October and Pilipino Culture Night in April. Katipunan is a social club that teaches people about the Filipino culture and creates a safe place for college students to meet others and make friends. In the next few months, we have a couple of events coming. The first is the Katipunan Experience where we show high school kids what it means to be a college student. The next event is the PCN where we perform cultural Filipino dances to educate people on the rich Filipino culture.
