Dope Blanket
(dope as in the dope, not dope as in cool)
so I'm working at this donation/restore center and we got this donation that me and my friend had to go through. going through it I'm thinking, this stuff smells funny. like bad funny. what is that smell? then it hits me...
I use my shirt to then cover my nose and continue separating the clothes (we don't sell) from the other things (we do sell) when a manager comes through and asks me “does something smell bad?”
“it smells like...” leans in closer to whisper “...the dope.”
a few minutes pass and everything is separated, but there is a blanket, which is something that we sell, that smells. badly. of the dope. so we don't know what to do with it because obviously we can't sell it like that. that’s when the boss man walks through. I need to ask what to do with the dope blanket and give him information so he knows why I'm asking but I can't say it the way I said it to the younger manager guy so what do I say? ill tell you.....
“Mr. Johnson, ummm....that blanket smells...of....illegal substances... ... ...... .... what should we do with it?”
he threw it in a different room and said that we would make it someone else’s problem (aka the partner donation company we work with)
