Introduction to our BLACK. No Sugar No Cream ® testimonial series....All submissions are welcomed I always find it so fascinating when I see men say "I don't date dark skinned women" ....... particularly so when these men themselves are black (and dark skinned at that) .......... how can you put a women down who looks like your mother? I've read so many comments about how light skinned girls are prettier, dark skinned women are ghetto, too dark, ugly, have nappy hair, etc. WHERE?!?!?!?! As a woman of a darker complexion I am appalled and disgusted by those who speak down on queens. Music videos that don't include darker women, magazines, movies and tv shows. Let's not forget these garbage modern day black rappers who have spoken so poorly about black women. The dark skinned woman is the most ridiculed and belittled in America!!!!! And for what reason? Society has taught us that being dark is a negative thing. I for one will be the first to say I grew up wishing I were white because I got called names all the time. Especially during the summer when I spent a lot of time outside playing in the sun. I recall family members asking my mom "why and how I she got so BLACK"..... and my mom would just kiss me and say I was her chocolate drop. Once I became comfortable and confident in my skin and started appreciating my melanin I was blessed with, I realized, I would NEVER and I mean ever change the complexion of my skin to be lighter. Hell, everyone makes fun of me now for sitting in the sun during the summertime trying to get as DARK AS HUMANLY POSSIBLE!!!!! I love all my rich chocolatey goodness.. Being a dark skinned woman is a gift for me. My skin absorbs the sun and glows. What more could I ask for. Plus a little birdie told me, the blacker the berry, the sweeter the juice 💋❤️🍇🍒 📝Post by @chocolate_yoga 👆🏿👆🏿👆🏿 Artist @cjw.photo 👆🏿👆🏿👆🏿 #DopeOnArrivalNYC #ConversationStarterApparel #WakeUpApparel #BlackNoSugarNoCream #MelaninSupreme #MelaninGameTooStrong #StrictlyConscious #IstayWoke #CultureNotForSale #HeavyD Stay tuned www.DopeOnArrivalNYC.com
