Buckle up! ✈️ This chubby orange cat is taking backyard adventures to new heights — literally. 🐾 Wearing his signature sunglasses and sipping coconut juice midair, he’s officially launched the world’s laziest (and cutest) airline from a cardboard box and a few balloons.

Afternoon hangs with SSR volunteer Michelle ❤️

Saoirse Ronan (pronounced Sur-shuh) is 1 1/2 to 2 years old and currently weighs around 40 lbs., but she’ll probably get a little more meat on her bones. Sweet, sweet Saoirse was found tied up at a construction site in Brooklyn by a good samaritan who heard her cries. It was clear that she had just had puppies when she was abandoned. Besides being underweight, she also had treatment for a skin infection, an ear infection and a UTI. Despite her rough beginning, this Irish beauty could not be more loving. She’s an oversized lap dog who loves to snuggle up to people and give kisses. She also absolutely loves to give hugs and knows how to sit when asked. She’s dog- and cat-friendly too; she’s currently being fostered with another dog and two cats and has done well with all of them. She’s still waiting on that Oscar, but Saoirse’s much more excited about winning a forever home.
