TBL - St. Patrick's day brunch at Dora Keogh March 17 2012

Typically St. Patrick’s Day and New Years Eve are the two days in the year I'd prefer not to drink in public venues. Between crowds of amateur drinkers jacked prices and the silly hype I don't find it all that interesting nor all that fun. Going to Dora Keogh for brunch pints to celebrate was a great idea. We got to have a few drinks together and be a part of the celebrations without the hassle of the crude drunken masses to come. I had my traditional Guinness followed by a Kilkenny. Then finished my visit to Dora's with a casked pint of Fullers London porter. One of the most lovely pints of beer you can find. The bar was fun and getting pretty full with green clothed revellers by the time I left.

Toronto Beer Lovers - Christmas recovery at Dora Keogh December 29 2011

A great little event we had to finish out the year. A bunch of Toronto Beer lovers went out to one of our favourite little Toronto pubs Dora Keogh. Nicely lit, old fashioned pub atmosphere and one of the few places that you can find casked Fullers London Porter. Such a good beer. Smooth and so delicious. We had a good group out. Lots of conversation and a celtic band played for much of the night. I couldn't ask for a better way to close out the year.
