following a group of baseball players through the week before school starts activities - definitely a "spiritual sequel" to Dazed and Confused - in an 80's college setting. Meeting the upperclassmen housemates and other new teammates, the interactions and growing familiarity between teammates/new friends(👍🏼👌🏼), seeing them all try to pick up girls (and how they adapt to each new club they go to) that whole party at the art major's house (pretty cool), the baseball practice scene and finding out Willoughby's secret. The call between Jake and Beverly was adorable and really reminiscent of the ones in Say Anything or Sixteen Candles.
