Sirius was bawling. Peter and Fran were holding hands jumping up and down. Lily started bawling herself when James flew straight to Sirius to hug him, hovering in mid-air. Then he hugged Remus, then Lily, then Peter, then Fran, then Grey. He finally flew down to the field where Lily saw Marlene on her knees, head in her hands while Dorcus, who was all smiles, hugged the other members of their team. James joined his teammates and there was already a stream of Gryffindor fans flooding the pitch. Dorcus pulled Marlene up, and hugged her tightly. Marlene was still sobbing.
