A cause. A reason for living. A matter of seconds. All’s washed. A ground to rest. In peace. Forever. Until you wake up. To a world unknown.
Despite the fact that the frame of sentences above seem to talk about a life after death, I beg to differ. It sure is ironic for me, as a human, to say that we are a bunch of selfish, narcissistic, arrogant bastards, plagued by the misconceptions that state human dominance to be at the peak of true virtue and power. Little do we realize that there are worlds beyond; unknown, undiscovered. Worlds that exist only with the intention of wiping the grin off of the faces of the people of earth.
When will we come to realize that the greater motive of life is to be able to co-exist in a society where an array of oddly suited individuals are deemed to live, grow and learn? If we fail to get this straight into our heads at any point in time, what makes us - mortals, different from a breed, commonly referred to as ‘Zombies’. This is where I ask you to re-read and fathom the importance of the first line of this post.
Once you and I can keep our egos aside, listen to the unspoken truth, and come to a conclusion that we are, after all, just humans. Some smart, some strong, some dreamers, some believers, some givers, some different. But none great. For the universe waits to unfold the dynamism ‘of worlds unknown’. Who knows whether a population of ‘greats’ actually exists somewhere, in some corner of space? Well, humans don’t. All we know is that we have made ourselves to believe that the ‘greats’ we call are great are just a result of things done by them- only ‘cause the most of us have the fear of failure or the shortcomings to go the extra mile.
A cognizance of that will only lead to acceptance. My acceptance of you. Your acceptance of me. Let’s wait for that to happen. Once we are able to, I would like to begin a chat with you.
I say, “Hi, how ‘bout you welcome me to tumblr?”
