Je Ne Comprends Pas || Dorian & Emma

The girl had tried and tried but so far there was no success. Even the library of Hogwarts didn’t have a lot of books that translated from French to English. And even though the Christmas Break had been over for quite some time now, she had no idea what the hell it was that Dorian had written to her during the break. So she had had enough of it by now.

With the French letter in her hand, Emma moved through the hallways of Hogwarts. They were much busier than during the break, but it was something that she had gotten used to very quickly. She was in search for Dorian and eventually she found him in the small courtyard.

Emma quickly moved over and placed the letter on the book that he was reading. There was one sentence in French that she completely understood now and she could only hope that her pronunciation was correct as well.

“Je ne comprends pas.”

ravi acknowledged how dark things had gotten. sure. but instead of choosing to really think about, well...everything, he was much more ready to push that all aside and treat this as a whole new addition to the celebrations they were all part of before. there was no question that he was going to take up space in stellaria, already having lounged in every space he could find in the spring suite. everyone was being such a...bummer. and it was really causing him stress, so naturally he sent word to bring over the emissary of autumn for a little bit of entertainment. the moment he spots the other in the hall with spring's appointed guard, ravi all but opened the door to drag him in, mock saluting to the guard before closing the door behind them, quickly pinning the other against it as he started to take his robes off with a lazy smile in greeting. "hi beautiful. thought you lost your way for a second there, it was sooo boring just waiting around." they pout mockingly, speaking in between soft pecks against the other's jaw and neck. "you've got some making up to do."

Rafa is, unfortunately, not a reader. He has read one book in the past two years, and that book is "The Werewolf in Lore and Legend" by Montague Summers, back when he thought maybe there was something he could do to, well, fix things. But he does like movies. And the library has them. And Cliffsides' internet just isn't always strong enough to support Netflix. "Ooh what about this one?" He asks Diego, fastened to the front of him, holding up a copy of "The Brave Little Toaster". "Get you good and traumatized early on..." He tucks the case under his arm and travels down the line, but when he goes to turn the corner, he nearly collides with somebody crossing the aisle, jumping back, instinctively steadying Diego in his sling. "Oh, wow sorry!"
