I'm going to my last chamber music recital of the 2025-26 season tonight. Specifically, I'm hearing the Doric String Quartet, which is performing Bach, Haydn, and Beethoven. They came around this time last year as well, BUT! A couple of hours before the concert, one of the members of the quartet got deathly ill (I'm thinking really bad food poisoning), and the recital was cancelled. So, I'm glad that they were able to return and squeeze us back in.
