It's been ten years this week. Ten years!

It's nice to know that Friend of the Archive, Ron Bean, remembers our protest. He incorrectly assigns the entire effort to this archivist. That's absolutely incorrect.

But thanks, Ron. I always knew you were my biggest fan. I will always remember you too.

The Bob Jones University students who run the Instagram account father pettit are appalled that GRACE-Censured Jim Berg is featured in BJU Chapel. So appalled that they are discussing some kind of public stand.

Go, my friends. Do it. Rock on. Speak up. You will not regret it even though the BJU Powers that Be will do everything in their power to silence you. 

It was 8 years ago this week that your fellow alumni staged the first protest on that campus. It was exactly 5 years ago on Saturday that GRACE released its 300-page report. 

Did you catch that, friends? They are featuring Jim Berg on the five-year-anniversary of the horrific report. They are thumbing their noses at you and at all of us who interviewed with the GRACE team.

I see that the BJU administration has already forced you to remove comments. I have a few saved, of course, but that’s for a later post. You’re seeing the real BJU now. You’re seeing the one that has pushed so many out of their world. It’s better out here, but the move from there to this better place is very difficult. 

I’m praying for you all. I’m praying for courage and wisdom. I’m praying for patience with yourselves.

I'm just really curious as to you who keep repeating these the same accusations over and over and over believe you are accomplishing? The thread will not likely remain open much longer. I can see some value in letting folks know where and how to get ahold of the transcripts. I see less value in the petition thing, but if you interpret events a certain way it makes a kind of sense.... I guess. But what purpose can possibly be served by continually taking cheap shots at Chuck Phelps (or even really thoughtful shots of essentially the same nature as you've already made dozens of times)? I really mean this as a rhetorical question I guess. There is no value in it. Board Administrator, Aaron Blumer

Remember in 2011 when Sharper Iron insisted that it didn’t matter that Chuck Phelps was on the board of Bob Jones University?
