Just a study.
I need this ship to survive. Whenever I see people shipping them or posting fanart or fanfictions, my mood goes up no matter how much crumbs I need to chase and gobble up. (Seriously, this is over forty years and this ship hasn’t died out, it’s surprising how long this endured)

Princess x dark knight AU, here I come!
(I just liked the concept when there is a lonely princess “caged” in a castle to fulfill her duties and survive court intrigues thus she is never truly able to know true freedom until the lone dark knight with a mysterious past comes along and she feels wary of him but somehow comforted and seen as the interaction becomes more meaningful. The dark knight doesn’t like to show his wounds and scars as it is not for someone else but him to bear and trust in a world full of greed and deceit is like diamond among other similar looking stones. The princess respects his distance, should he decide to remain so. Nevertheless her fire keeps burning warm and bright until it reminds him of hope.)

I was all comfortable and happy to draw Doris as a model because her beauty is still underrated until I had to draw D as a model where I started to feel nervous because I have to make him look handsome or otherwise people will come after me and I just couldn’t give him the fuckboy look (like seriously it would creep me out…).
