Graduation
Another year, another graduation. Over the years from when we graduated, many things have changed. (Yes I can remember wearing NEW jeans to school.) But I have to say keeping tradition with the whole caps and gowns for graduation, makes it that everybody still looks equally dorky! I admit at graduation last night I did keep an eye out to see if one graduate would have their tassel hung from their nose ring? Nope, didn't happen. Graduation time is one of those memories you'll never forget. Like taking your driving test and that first kiss. I remember being at a relatives one year when I was little and someone had just graduated. I asked my one relative if he still had his diploma from graduation? One family member in the room yelled out "He was in high school so long instead of a diploma they gave him a gold watch". I must admit that was a good one. I asked my daughter what she aspired to be in the working world? She wasn't sure but asked if I had any suggestions? I told her that I could picture her doing something that involved a drive-thru window. she stuck her tongue out at me and went upstairs. I thought "Wow that wasn't very mature for a graduate."
