Do you have any recommended songs, either for someone who hasn't listened to much or just your faves. Ive only listened to like... two songs made by aurelio voltaire so feel free to talk about multiple options!
I don't mind answering this here at all! If I'm presented with an opportunity recommend songs from my favorite music artist, I'm taking it :D
Anytime I show his music to someone who hasn't listened to any of it or heard of him in general, I always show them Ravens Land. No particular reason as to why this one specifically, it just happens to be the one that I go with whenever I introduce someone to his music ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Then of course there's one of his most popular songs, When You're Evil. This song was my introduction to him back in 2018-2019, since I used to watch a bunch of Disney villain tribute videos back then that almost always use this song.
However, I didn't fully get into his music until 2023, when I discovered what is now my favorite song of his, The Headless Waltz. I just love the way the song flows, rhythm and all.
And since I'm answering this on my selfship blog, I might as well sprinkle in a few songs that remind me of my selfships/F/Os :)))
The Masquerade - reminds me of my dearest Jekyll/Hyde <333
The Projectionist - reminds me of my darling Amicus Arcane (kinda ironic since he's a librarian, but he does briefly use a projector in the second volume of Tales From the Haunted Mansion)
Safe in Your Love - applies to many of my romantic selfships (˶ᵔ ᵕ ᵔ˶)
All in all, Aurelio Voltaire has some really awesome music, and I'm glad I could be of service in recommending you some of his songs :]
