Dorm Room Idea & Supplies

Here's an overall rundown on how I want my dorm to look like, and feel as I move in 28 days from now. It's going to be galactic so far & just an environment where it shows my inner child at heart. I will have a lofted bed, so my bunk will have my bed on top, then my Study Station will be on the bottom. The ceiling will have remote-controlled LED Strip Lights that can change color, I will have a night light projector to help me sleep, soundboard panels for when I record my Youtube Videos & Music. That so far is the layout to start with for the walls, lighting, and area surrounding my room.

I will share a suite with someone else, so I won't have my own bathroom. However, my room is separated so I still get a form of privacy. My closet has a spot for hangers and I bought hangers & a shoe organizer for my closet for the organization. In addition, I also added a laundry hamper for my clothes.

As far as the bed, I have my standard twin xl sheets/pillowcase, and they are a plum color, I have a constellation sensory sheet also in a twin xl size, a galaxy themed duvet cover, of course, my stuffed animals will accompany my dorm, and a gel mattress pad for a little extra padding and bedbug protection.

For my workstation, I have a loft bed privacy blackout curtain, a desk lamp, lava lamp, surge protector power station tower, a desk lamp, and a gaming swivel chair.

I know just found out many people bring their gaming systems into their dorm, so I decided to form an entertainment station with 22-inch small flatscreen tv, a Nintendo 64 Gaming Console with two controllers, gaming cables, and a game capture device (capture and record gameplays for my YT videos) and I will also bring in my DVD Player & possibly find a Roku device to also incorporate to the station as well.

The final part of my room will have a nice comfortable light blue rug, possibly a bean bag chair, a lock for my medicines, and a fridge for some cold drinks or leftovers I bring in from my cafeteria or a campus event for food I happen to eat.

This was definitely a longer post than I expected it to be but I am super anxious and am still questioning whether this would be a great idea or not. Let me know what you think about this idea! This is what I really want it to be, and I am definitely going to keep to myself the first month or so on campus.
