Hello everyone!
I’ve been active on studyblr for QUITE some time, but I thought it was time I move things onto a bigger platform. I will certainly remain active on here as much as possible, but for more in depth posts, dorm photos, life & school updates, study tips, and book recommendations, PLEASE consider following my Instagram account.
While you’re here, let me give you a quick life update: I moved to Boston! That’s right. I moved into a dorm at Boston College. I’m going into my first year of graduate school to get my master’s in Higher Education and Student Affairs and have an assistantship as a graduate staff assistant for the office of residential life, so I’m living on campus! I also will be working in the office of graduate student life, so I get to help plan events and support grad students.
It will be really amazing to help support students transitioning into grad school. I imagine my job will be a lot more demanding because of the pandemic -- despite everything being virtual, students are likely going to need a lot more support. Virtual learning is hard and it isn’t always equitable. Students may have family members and friends falling ill. I’m ready for the challenge.
I’ve always wanted to help people, so I’m excited for this new chapter and opportunity.
