There was something wicked about still being in bed at half-past eight on a Monday morning, Jack Robinson reflected, drowsily philosophical as he stretched his deliciously tired limbs. 

A good respectable officer of the law such as himself really ought to know better, ought to set a better example for his men by being at the station bright and early everyday.

Not that Jack felt especially respectable at that precise moment. If anything he felt… debauched. Ravished. Utterly ruined. Wicked.

He thought he rather liked it.

And it was all thanked to the woman currently standing over him, a woman he had missed more than he could express in words (though he hoped he’d been able to demonstrate his emotions adequately enough). Half-dressed and smiling down with a smirk on her lips and a kind of hungry softness in her grey-green eyes, she was without doubt the most exquisite thing he had ever seen.

“Tired, Jack?”

“Exhausted, Miss Fisher,” he returned, as gravely as a judge in court. “I had a very busy night, you’ll recall.”

“I do indeed recall. Very busy, very… energetic.” Phryne Fisher perched on the edge of the bed, pinning down the bedclothes at his side, and leaned in for a good morning kiss.

He hummed contently at the taste of tea. “Is that my shirt?” he asked, curling his arms around her waist and dragging her lazily across and over him.

“It is,” Phryne replied, stretching and almost purring under the ministrations of his hands and lips, which were busy divesting her of the garment in question. “You weren’t using it, and I had to nip downstairs for the milk and the newspaper, and it was the first thing I–oh!”

“Mm, and the only thing, I notice…” Jack cradled the back of her head in one broad hand and kissed her with a clear intent that took her breath away, and swept his free hand down her breasts and stomach to slip his fingers over her still-damp curls. “One might almost call you shameless, Miss Fisher.”

She bit her lip hard and tried to hold back her needy whimpers, though her hips had a mind of their own and bucked up to press her cunt against his hand. “One might - almost call you insatiable - Detective-Inspector.”

“Guilty as charged,” he growled, pulling her up to straddle him.

I think just about the only thing I liked about that episode was when Vala threw that fire extinguisher at Ventrell, as it neatly summarizes the show's attempt at writing seasons 9/10. They tried, but didn't really succeed all that well.

I liked that moment too. But the thing is, I don’t think they even tried. They were like a bunch of kids in a candy store without the adult supervision. No wonder s9-10 make us nauseous

but it's hilarious!!! I love that episode.... it's so stupid it's great

to each their own of course, but it was just hilariously bad. And NOT at all Stargate. I watched Stargate because I wanted to watch Stargate, not a high school drama

I mean the bounty hunter part could’ve been salvaged, but the reunion part? No show needs a high school reunion episode. It’s lazy and cringe worthy
