There's this horrible website called fashionistaswonderland on tumblr and they constantly feature bindis as some accessory, sometimes in very disgusting ways just strewn around the face. I've sent them messages and reblogged posts asking them to stop. Can desi tumblr please do something about this tog?

We can definitely try - but the thing is some of the people wearing bindis on that blog are actually south asian :( idk

Did you read the rebuttal on dorothyparkerwashere's blog? What are your thoughts? I think there should be a response from eastiseverything in this discussion.

I had a long reply about this drafted, but now I don’t think it’s necessary. There is no insight or value I can add. The only testimony I can give is that Yi-Sheng is one of the best people I know, and if somebody can’t tell that from the humility and kindness with which he speaks, then I’m never gonna convince them of anything. That’s all.
