Spanish artist Jordi Penalva illustrated relatively few book covers, but illustrated hundreds of magazine and comic covers for Fleetway Publications in England and Warren Publications in America. There's a very dynamic, comic-book feel to the figures on this cover, which is somewhat at odds with the content, a fairly cerebral and not especially action-packed Military SF novel from venerable author Gordon R. Dickson.
