It’s been about 7weeks since tearing a ligament in my ankle. I feel like everyday I am getting the strength and range of motion. Today is my only day during the week Im able to relax, do homework for the rest of the week, and take care of errands. There’s a part of me that wants to just jump on my bike and ride the rest of the day away! This whole “ordeal” has taught me that things like physical strength can be taken away within a second and you must start from “0”. Find a routine for rehab and stretching and stick with it. It’s the same for training while racing. Keep it consistent and you’ll see the progress as the days and weeks go by. Whatever fire started in my gut is continuing to burn while on this recovery tip. I’m very eager but patient to get back out there and start to create a base for next season :) Physically I feel like I’m at 60-65%. Next up getting core back and need to find some sand pits to train in! Thanks again for all the support.
