Mastery of anything takes practice. Build your courage muscle by doing one thing each day that scares you. Take a deep breath and just do it. A friend recently reminded me to not over think before I did some marketing that I had been avoiding. Her voice in my head helped me do that scary thing. And the sky didn't fall once I did it. Yay! What will you do today that scares you? We can do this together and build our Courage. For me, I'm putting my health first and getting my back checked out as I have been struggling...scary for sure. EXCUSES EXCUSES

I didn’t like it but it was always there. When I drank I always had the excuse I was too tired to wake up early the next day, therefore I could be less productive. And the fantasy was, if I didn’t drink I would get up early to “get stuff done”. Well now that I don’t drink, I don’t have that excuse anymore. But do I get up early and “get stuff done”?...Sometimes :) But what this exploration as done has forced my hand to ask myself, was the alcohol the reason or am I just lazy?! Once again, the short answer is...Sometimes. This time it’s about me and not the drinking. We love having a scape goat and when it’s not there it’s no always pleasant.

So, as of late I’ve been pushing myself to try new things or at least putting myself in slightly uncomfortable positions. For example, this 30 Day Plank Challenge I’ve started. I love starting things but don’t always love finishing them. This I HAVE to finish. The fact that it’s a video I need to record and not just a picture...an added discomfort. People are relying on me to post a video everyday. I can’t wake up one morning and say “Naaahh. I don’t feel like it today.” I have to keep going. And I will. No excuses!
