Left state 29 yesterday. Montana. A state where the governor personally e-mailed me to thank me for what I was doing and donate to my gas tank. A state where the mayor of Helena made time to have coffee with me and share a story of kindness. A state where I saw some of the most beautiful scenes I've witnessed on this trip. And a state where they put GOOD NEWS on the front page! So grateful for every single person I met here, the stories, the health assistance, the love. And especially grateful that a little over a week ago I opened up an e-mail from last February that I never saw. It was a woman I didn't know from Boston telling me about her friend in Helena who could host me. Her friend's name was Meg. She has been living with a traumatic brain injury from a car accident for the last year causing her to suffer from an array of health issues and yet still finds time to #dosomethingkind for someone every day. I wrote to Meg two days in advance, figuring it might not work out since it was so last minute. She wrote back immediately telling me to come. I figured maybe visiting her and sharing some stories would help her, but it turned out, she was the one who helped me. Meg gave me exactly the boost I needed. She reminded me of the importance of keeping it real and has inspired me to start two different creative projects. One of which I will announce in December, and the other I will announce this week! Could not be more excited to start both of these projects and beyond grateful to have connected to this little blue-haired light on my mission. ✨ #montana #iloveyou 🚙 (at Helena, Montana) https://www.instagram.com/p/BmrXxL-HNSV/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=1sbpufldbo5sq
