@Regrann from @luxepaws - 👏🏻😸 Hooray, 450 neighborhood kitties have been fixed or rescued in just 8 months thanks to our TNR volunteers! Get THIS, lets say only 150 of those 450 were female and they had just 2 litters of 4 kittens, that would be another 1,200 unwanted kittens, could any rescue seriously find 1,200 responsible homes for all those poor animals? 💡 Now do you see why focusing any rescue effort solely on getting animals out of the shelter does nothing to actually FIX the real problem that we're not taking responsibility for these poor animals and just getting them fixed. These numbers are also a big wake-up for anyone who thinks there aren't animals in Los Feliz, Silver Lake and Echo Park that need to be spayed or neutered. Our little part time volunteer team found a whopping 450 on the street and instead of pretending these isn't a problem, we're fixing them with help from our friends @fixnation. Here's a big thank you Anya, Gretchen and Tracy for spending your Friday night out on the street trapping cats, and Kelsey and Jenni for packing your little Honda Fit's with kitties and making the 30 mile round trip to @fixnation.
