Yesterday at color guard, we got our dot books. Here’s what mine looks like:

Our show is western themed so I drew a panda, a dust thingy, and a cactus. It looks good in my opinion. Also the reason why its silvery tape lining it is because there was no rainbow tape and that was the closest thing I got to rainbow tape. I’m trying to drop hints to my parents but they still aren’t getting it lol.

band things:

we have to flutter-run to our first set in the ballad

when max was showing us how to do that the first three people he picked to demonstrate besides himself were me, sam, and ava, somehow

flutter-running has already fucked up both my legs lmao

pat was telling the color guard to do something and if it was wrong that it was his fault and sam turned to me and said “pat’s finally taking the blame!” and pat hEARD HIM

i made and am almost finished with BAND PRACTICE BINGO

ill post it when im done but the best squares i have right now are “flute twirling (free space)”, “clarissa insults one (1) specific person”, “matthew [redacted] forgets his dot book”, “nobody brings the gock block and people have to clap”, and “the flutes make at least one crop circle in the warning track”

i also wrote “devon does weird shit”

and then showed it to max but only remembered that i had written it when he already was holding the paper

and he goes

“devon does weird —”

and i fuckin FREEZE

and he says “what does this say??”
