After a digital temporal shift, the three of them had been left in an unfamiliar place. Everything felt strange for being some world that imitated the one they were more familiar with. Some post disaster city outside of something much more futuristic.
It had been a week since they were ripped out of the Digital World and into this one. What was worse is that a few days after, Kiryuu and the twins had been followed by other people with Digimon. There was also a lot of egg imagery for some reason. Not anywhere Kiry could remember off the top of her head.
So it's another few days of being on the street. Somewhere along the lines she had heard something of a bounty on her head. Who bounty hunted people with Digimon? Was it another AFE or Ripper ploy? Also the rogue Digimon trying to eat her was unfortunately nothing new, but even they acted weird: leaving no traditional digicore behind, leaving icy marks on her arm that weren't leaving...
Which is where Kiry finds herself now. Arm partially frozen, Ryft and Signi as Coredramon having fled another bounty hunter, hiding in flooded sea slums. Kiryuu herself had passed out from needing rest, so having a blue Coredramon carrying her away from another pursuer did look strange to outside eyes.
They had thought their latest pursuer had been lost. After a few moments of rest, they were proven wrong.
Ryft, the green Coredramon looks at the strange man and unknown Digimon with a threatening snarl. "Last chance to leave us alone, we ain't done anything to you!"
Signi, the blue Coredramon stands in front of the resting Kiryuu, behind him. "My brother will use deadly force to protect our human, and I will aid him as necessary. Last chance."
