SANTA TRACY
B&W halftone screen.
"I've always had a certain ability, a skill level from when I was a kid, to copy anything. And I think I had a degree of contempt for this ability, probably because it came easily to me. I thought I would try to put some distance between me and the work, so I turned all the images I was working with into veloxes or dot screens. Eventually I got rid of the dot screen and discovered that I just got so much pleasure out of simply painting with enamel." —Marilyn Minter

Two examples of a simulated line screen and dot screen printed image. This as closely as possible simulates what would actually happen when an image is projected through a screen to create a screened print. Just an experiment I was playing around with. Help with the process was provided by keysnthings.
