Beyond excited !!
Okay so my partner and I binged DOTA: Dragon’s Blood today and I have a theory.
The Invoker, Selemene, Mene, and Terrorblade were once a Pod(I believe that’s the Elven term for a Polycule?)
The Invoker, Terrorblade, and Selemene all seem intimately familiar with eachother and the truth of their histories(which we the viewers are still missing pieces on). As for Mene’s part, we know she at least existed at the same time as the other three, since The Invoker confirms that she is dead, and he can’t return her to life; and Terrorblade specifically names Selemene “The Usurper”, implying that she actively betrayed Mene.
I know this is a pretty big reach since we don’t know a whole lot about any of those characters yet; but I feel like Fymryn’s Pod was probably focused on so heavily to introduce healthy Polyamory to viewers who may or may not be acquainted with Polyamory as a cultural norm; setting a standard for later in the story.
Also if I AM right about M/I/S/T being a Pod, perhaps that could set up for Davian, Mirana, Marci, and Fymryn to also become a Pod and follow similar narrative themes as the story develops.
Little indication: Dota - dragon's blood
I'm completely caught by the intricate plot
Spoiler (maybe) alert
Gonna spam Dota Dragons Blood cuz its awesome and its sad it doesn’t have a bigger fandom
