I have, not exactly a headcanon, but a supposition, that it would be difficult for Terry and the rest of the Bat-family to communicate. And no, this isn’t about strained relationships, because Bruce and Terry, for example, have good relations in the cartoon itself.

Simply put… we do understand that the time difference there is COLOSSAL, right? They just won’t be able to understand each other’s slang and principles 😭😭. One of the younger ones will use ‘cringe!’ in reference to McGinnis’s costume, and Terry will spend 10 years wondering if they insulted him or praised him. And likewise in reverse.
