I loved that song. It made me daydream so vividly. For some reason, I remember Otis' passing hitting me a couple weeks later. I was walking thru the stereo dept at Montgomery Wards in Kenosha WI (I was 10) & it was playing on a stereo console -- stereo wasnt what we know it today, it was just 2 mono tracks. When it ended, it turned out they were playing WLS radio in Chicago. Larry Lujack came on & said, "& that was Otis Redding. Otis you left us much too soon to sit on that dock of the bay in the sky" I just lost it. https://www.instagram.com/p/BrJTDbMnOEy/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=1h8bel9bguf73
