You know, for as much as I adore Haseo, I find his backstory terribly boring

What is Divine Awakening?

...It's explained in-game as a special Awakening that can only be used with a full party (and full Morale), but it doesn't get any proper explanation in terms of mechanics. Haseo can only use it after he gets his second job extension/third form, so maybe it's an Adept Rogue thing?

Except Sirius also has a Divine Awakening, and is notably the only other character that has one (for some reason). That could also be explained by the whole AIDA possession/Innis thing, but it still raises the possibility that Divine Awakening isn't just a class thing.

Is it an Arena Emperor thing? Plausible, since both Haseo and Sirius are Arena Emperors, though Haseo gave up his title to participate in the Holy Palace tournament, while Sirius was Emperor at the time... and none of the other Emperors use it, so.

I feel like it's one of the game mechanics that got thrown in for rule of cool and never got properly explained. Even moreso when it got turned into Avatar Awakening in volume 3...

Like, okay. It seems like Returner was retconned by later installments (Ovan is still "missing" or not even mentioned?), even though it was definitely canon in Link (the "passive" AIDA that appears in Returner is a huge plot point in Link).

But then there's this implication that the "festival" in Returner actually referred to a specific festival where dead spirits are said to return to the world of the living... so it may not have been a retcon after all, and Ovan only visited The World for that one event.

I'm so confused
