So, if discreetly suggesting it didn't work, how about a bribe to dissuade the Headmaster and thus explore the secrets that magical school holds within? There are always other alternatives available to try

But bribe such a man with what, I wonder? Perhaps forbidden or infinite knowledge? However, he does appear to be someone gullible to money, so I may have to do with that.

Mr. Dottore, speaking hypothetically, what would your reaction be if Headmage Crowley offered you a position at Night Raven College? Would you be interested in a teaching position in such a place, or would you decline the offer?

Depending on the position, then I would be more inclined to accepting it. A biology class would be most interesting. Not only that, but it opens up my personal opportunities quite a bit.
