Wind Sprint struggled a bit with the divorce as she would only see her other parent every other weekend. she liked spending time with them, and when they moved to be with their new family she didn't get to see them as much. Then her mother started dating and that was a hugh blehg. All these guys she kept dating were always annoying, until Clear Sky introduced Wind sprint to Cheerilee. it had been the first time in awhile her mother introduced wind sprint to one of her dating partners, and it just kinda clicked. Cheerilee was so nice and good and it really felt like she listened to Wind sprint. They just ended up clicking as a family, her mother soon was remarried to the teacher and had a kid together. Wind Sprint loved having a play mate, even if they are a little young. she taught Double Bagel everything she knew about sports, especially buck ball. now as adults they tend to bicker to each other a lot, but at home they still get along. This lil fruit is the younger kid of Cheerilee and Clear Sky. After Clear Sky's divorce she was trying to get back out there, after a few dates she met Cheerilee. Ponyvilles elementry school teacher who was terribly single. The two hit it off, even wind sprint couldn't help but like Cheerilee right away, it helps to be a teacher to young kids sometimes. Some say they rushed into their marriage but Clear Sky's felt a click with them and Cheerilee had been single long enough. Double Bagel come not long after. Wind sprint was a loving older sister, always around and ready to hang out and play with her younger sibling and show them all she knew about buck ball and other sports of interest. It was no surprise that Bagel ended up getting a cutie mark for sports just like his sister. however somehow the thing that bonded them together is what now causes them the most fights. Double Bagel loves to play tennis and acts very delicate and clean. he'll work hard and break a sweat but its straight to the showers afterwards. no scrapping his knees or stepping in mud puddles. Wind sprint however thinks this is the most annoying thing in the world, her claiming you can't really put your soul into your sport if your not going get dirty for it. you can catch the two on college campus getting in these stupidly loud petty fights so often most people trot right by their fights without blinking an eye. However when their back home and talk has turned to other things like the weather or what their moms did today at work they get along well. outside of his life with his sister Bagel went to school with Pound Cake, top of his class wrestler. Bagel has had THE biggest crush on the stallion ever since Pound Cake spoke to  him once during an in school physical. the two barely talked, often Bagel watching him from afar or watching his matches after school. Never having the courage to go up and talk to him. He still attends wrestling matches at the highschool even thought Pound Cake is only coaching now. If you asked Pound cake how he felt about Bagel, he would say 'Bagel?... from tennis? February 2025

The second month of the year was monopolised by tennis – I began February in the UAE and ended it in Mexico!

I was joined by Chanda in UAE for the (*takes a deep breath*) Mubadala Abu Dhabi Open presented by Abu Dhabi Sports Council – a name so ridiculously long that we had to shorten it to make it legible on our graphics. I can’t say I was enthusiastic about travelling to this part of the world, but on the (very) bright side, the weather was a stark improvement on what I’d left at home – I think I saw one cloud all week! Chanda told me that last year’s tournament was delayed due to a rainstorm, but even after seeing video evidence I couldn’t quite believe it. If anything, Mexico was even sunnier and came with the added bonus of a pool on the hotel roof, which I made good use of during my stay.

In Abu Dhabi, Swiss Miss Belinda Bencic won her second M.A.D.O.P.B.A.D.S.C. title from two visits (#undefeated), while world number 10 Emma Navarro made the most of a depleted field in Merida to win the biggest title of her career; she faced Colombian world number 133 Emiliana Arango who’d come all the way through qualifying to reach her first WTA final, but 55 minutes and two bagels later, it was all over.

Both jobs went so smoothly as to be unremarkable, and sadly both locations weren’t much to write home about either. I didn’t try too hard to sightsee in Abu Dhabi but the few attempts I made in Merida yielded nothing, which was doubly disappointing given the very light workload. There were potentially better options further afield, but I opted to kick it by the pool instead…gotta save some energy for work!
