Decided to start doing some rewriting on very old entries, apparently at most half a decade old. Wow. Also been out of the loop since War of the Spark, so if I plan to catch up then there’s at least Kylem, Ikoria, and Kaldheim to write about. I can’t even find proper art for Khorvath to start Kylem with.
Also remembered this blog because I saw Goldspan Dragon.
Look at that gorgeous thing. Lots of axe shapes, rope/vine patterns, antlers and fur. The distinctiveness that’s the very reason this blog exists.

Just to be clear, the next few Identifying Dragons entries will be a rewrite and re-organization of the Dominaria series. The original series were sorted by color, which proved to be too rigid for updates. I’m also updating the legend spotlight in ID: Dominaria regarding the Ur-Dragon soon. So yeah. We’re going to start with Shiv and Bogardan soon, and then we’re going to roll from there.
I plan to remove the old entries to avoid clutter, but not until I’m sure I’ve covered them in the new entries.

Oh my gods. Hello! Shout-out to @askkrenko and @commandtower-solring-go. I am honored.
Welcome, new followers. It’s been a while since I last posted continuously here. This sideblog has been collecting dust for some time. I have run out of planes for my main feature entries here, and writing semi-comprehensive entries for legendary dragons isn’t always so easy.
Anyway, check out the contents page if you still haven’t. I tag posts with all related keywords and they’re all organized neatly here. You can also just search for a particular plane or dragon. I’m sure you’ll find something.
Additionally, I want this sideblog to be more active. Anything you’d like to see besides the long posts/art/quotes? Something lore-related weekly? Let me know.

Now this is what I call an update. Several revisions to old entries, some art collecting, updated list of flavor text, plus two new planes down already. Kind of let down however that there’s not much concrete dragon lore from recent planes... but that’s just how it is. Art, flavor text, mechanics... we’ll check them out and see how they fit.
Also, reviewing some entries and the bonus topic I picked for Niv-Mizzet years ago was... the Guildpact. That is just *chef’s kiss* perfect.
