With melty cheddar cheese, crispy bacon, and a special sauce that takes this classic to the next level, the Double Bacon and Beef Burger is a very tasty treat.
Ingredients: 2 beef patties 1/2 pound each. 4 slices of bacon. 4 hamburger buns. 4 slices of cheddar cheese. 1/4 cup mayonnaise. 1/4 cup ketchup. 1/4 cup diced onions. 1 tomato, sliced. 4 lettuce leaves. Salt and pepper to taste.
Instructions: Preheat grill or stovetop pan over medium-high heat. Cook bacon until crispy, then set aside on paper towels to drain. Season beef patties with salt and pepper. Grill patties for about 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare, or longer to your desired doneness. During the last minute of cooking, top each patty with a slice of cheddar cheese and cover to melt. While patties are cooking, toast hamburger buns on the grill or in a toaster until lightly browned. In a small bowl, mix mayonnaise and ketchup to create a special sauce. Assemble the burgers: Spread the sauce on the bottom bun, place a lettuce leaf, a beef patty with melted cheese, two slices of bacon, tomato slices, and diced onions. Top with the other bun half and secure with a toothpick or skewer if needed. Serve your delicious Double Bacon and Beef Burger immediately.
