Rhinoplasty, Jawline and Double Chin Correction This gentleman complained of having a very heavy jawline with a double chin. He also felt that he had a flat nose and desired to have a more prominent nasal profile. Treatment planning was explained to him and he consented to surgery. Double chin correction was performed first. Anatomical markings were made over the chin and excess fat was removed from the chin region. This was followed by burring of bilateral gonial angles of the jaws for a more chiseled look to his jaw, which gave him a more youthful appearance. An intercartilaginous incision was then made followed by tunneling of the costal graft to augment his flat nasal bridge. This resulted in a prominent straight nose.
