Thinking about buying our popular 3rd Generation High Strength Velcro Half Length? Read our latest review of the product by M. W.:

”First Binder”
This was my first binder and I couldn't be more happy with it. I read a lot of reviews before deciding on myDoubleDesign's version. Even with all the great reviews, I anticipated something restrictive and extremely uncomfortable but I couldn't have been more wrong. It's so comfortable and practically seamless under clothes which makes me feel like it's just an extension of my body. The material is really soft and doesn't irritate my skin at all. The velcro is a huge plus. I figured if I was going to invest in a product I couldn't try on before buying, it would be helpful to have it be adjustable. Also helps with the claustrophobia factor. I was worried that the velcro might scrape or irritate my arm or ribs but I don't even notice it's there. Such a fantastic product! I'll be ordering another one before long.
Big guy, best binder ever
Read our latest review of the product by Chris,
“I am a big guy. I have a large ribcage, WIDE shoulders, and am pre surgery with a large chest. The best thing about this binder is that it is insanely COMFORTABLE. I WAS FLOORED. I have struggled with all other brands because of a medical issue that makes me overheat easily and can lead to syncope. I couldn't wear any of the other binders I have tried, including the mesh versions. I can wear this binder all day though and it is comfortable and no overheating!
I don't need the Velcro per se since I am quite flexible but it sure is handy. I have adjusted the Velcro on certain days depending on if I have any ribs that are out of place.
I will be ordering more as soon as my finances allow”

Endorsed by Large Chest!- Comfortable, Secure, Good Fit
Read our latest review.
“Previously I had received a medium DoubleDesign velco half-length binder from a friend and loved the fit. It was slightly small for my 34E chest, but never constricted painfully(even w/ extended wear) and the silhouette remained smooth, natural and never shifted around. Most of my fit issue came with having too much breast to fit on the velcro side, which created some underarm/"wing fat". My fault for wearing a wrong-sized binder. I recently ordered a 3rd Gen. High Strength Velcro Half Length in Large (my 'appropriate size') and am ecstatic with the fit. The material of the binder out of the package feels very durable, yet soft and comfortable to the touch. Stitching was good all around; my black binder had no random threads, bunches or marks of any kind. Additionally this binder came with a sheet on both binder washing/care as well as how to properly adjust for fit. My Body Type: I have an awkwardly sized body; broad shoulders and large chest (34E) but with a fairly small ribcage and waist. Often times binders will leave a noticeable gap between where my breasts are and the bottom of the binder, which not only compromises fit for me (the breasts shift down and out of position) but also leaves me feeling uncomfortable and dysphoric because the gap is so large that my chest feels loose and unsecured. Additionally I feel the need to double up on undershirts just to wear any sort of loose shirt, as the gap stands away from my body and makes a very noticeable line in shirts. (I have this problem with GC2B binders especially!). The fit on this binder is phenomenal! Many folks find binders uncomfortable but with the high strength Velcro securing the binder I am able to adjust it to be incredibly comfortable. The binding for me with this piece make me feel safe when I put it on; not only is it easier than struggling through with a pullover binder, but the adjustment can help if I need to loosen/tighten it as well as when I am adjusting my chest. I don't have a lot of issue surrounding any "arm fat" or chest falling out of the binder because it seems DoubleDesign actually sizes their binders for larger-chested folks (not just making a medium on a slightly larger template, like some companies). Although I have to concede that I will never be 100% flat, this binder keeps me secure and comfortable, so much so that I don't hesitate wearing it for extended periods. -- tl;dr: You may be cautious about dropping ~$60 on a binder, but DoubleDesign has a really good return policy and (I believe) really quality binders. I don't doubt that my binder will last me for a long time, and I don't feel hesitant about contacting DoubleDesign if I ever did have an issue. Also no, I don't work for/get reimbursed for writing reviews, but I have spent enough time depressed and dysphoric because my body was so 'wrong' that I couldn't even find a binder to fit that when I did, I wanted to tell others about it. -Adrian”

binder review
Recently I got a mydoubledesign binder during their promotion (the 3rd gen half length velcro) and I’ve worn it enough to be able to write a review for it.
In terms of comfort, it’s way up there. I’ve worn pretty much everything from Underworks to awful 10$ eBay binders, and considering its usual price (59$ before shipping), I would’ve been upset if it wasn’t good quality. It’s nice to wear and the fabric is soft.
I’ve worn a similar style of binder in the past and absolutely HATED the chunky velcro on the side that had me itchy and readjusting all day. It was showing through everything I wear. There’s definitely none of that with this binder, which I was skeptical about. I’ll admit I’m hard to please when it comes to binding because of my hang ups with texture and compression.
A little more personal, my chest is hard to bind even though it’s small because my boobs are very... resilient, but this binder definitely did the trick like no other one I’ve tried actually has. I’m satisfied with it for sure.
tl;dr: comfort is great, texture/sensory-wise it’s great, the velcro works good, compression is good, quality is good. pricing is out of reach for most of the trans people I know.
