I had a blast bouncing around in the boat wakes this afternoon with Dale and Ryan on a multi species catching trip on Shearon Harris. They put the smack down on largemouth bass using lures, crappie and a couple nice catfish. Father and son double hook ups are my favorite and they got that done today as well with the largemouth bass. Sunday trip 1 of 2 - Family fishing fun on Shearon Harris: I had a blast guiding this crew this morning. Eric, Lisa, Logan and Julian joined me for a 3 hour live bait trip and absolutely whacked the crappie with some bass, white perch and crappie mixed in! It was fast and furious fishing and this hard fishing family stuck them good with several double hook ups. Labor Day trip number two - Multi- species fishing on Shearon Harris: I had a great time guiding Dan and Sara this afternoon in the nonstop boat traffic. They immediately went to work and boated several nice crappie. We then switched our focus to largemouth bass and managed to find a couple of schools that were choking shad. This hard fishing duo stuck with it through the tough conditions and ended the day with a nice double hook up! Ridiculously good fishing on trip number two today. Hagan, Hudson and Matthew put a hurting on the crappie on their 3 hour afternoon trip with around 60 caught and released. These young men are fantastic anglers and an absolute pleasure to be around. Wednesday trip 1 of 2 - A challenging but fun largemouth trip this morning on Shearon Harris. Donnie and Jake joined me for an early morning largemouth with lures fishing session. We had to move around a lot to find some takers but they managed to trick a few into biting.
