These sorts of fancy parties were fun for a little while but they got too stuffy and too much about meeting people who Danyal knew he’d never speak to again. It was easier when he was still a boy and was too young to attend the functions with his diplomat parents. Funnily enough, teenage him had wanted to sneak in and steal booze just to try it. Danyal had met and spoken with enough people for the night, his parents enjoying having him there to show off their professional footballer son. Truthfully they wanted to get him more interested in politics and he was having none of that.

Leaving the large ball room, Danyal made his way out onto the large balcony for a cigarette. It was adequately lit with a few cocktail tables to stand at and a couple of ornate benches at either end of the balcony.  He passed by a man and woman sharing words as he pulled his silver cigarette case from his inner suit pocket. The woman wore a long red dress that shaped around her form just right but Dany’s eyes drifted over her sharply dressed companion before he smiled warmly. “Do either of you have a -- uh cigarette lighter?” They did not and Dany cracked a half smile and nod as he moved on towards the other individual sharing the balcony with them. 

“How about you? Do you have a lighter by chance?” He asked as he approached, cigarette perched between his fingers. The other man wore an expensive suit like most there tonight but he filled it out a lot better. Looked far too fit to be a paper pushing politician but that suit was far too nice for a security agent and a fat load of help he’d be as a body guard if he was out here alone.

Remus slowly became aware that he was not alone in bed as sleep started to ebb away from him. He felt warm skin underneath his arm which was slung across a toned torso. Lupin’s heart thudded faster in realization and the terrible awkwardness of not knowing just who he was cuddling up to. Very carefully, he pulled away back over to his side of the king bed where he was able to get a good look at the sleeping man he’d shared a bed with. The name ‘James’ softly pinged at his hazy thoughts and Remus silently groaned as he rose his hand to rub at tired eyes. There was a subtle weight he wasn’t used to and upon inspection of his hand, Remus just about fell out of bed as he got to his feet. There was a gold band on his ring finger. What did we do? Well it was pretty obvious but no less confusing. “I’m never drinkin’ again,” he grumbled before pressing a knee into the mattress so he could lean over and give Bond a nice jolt. “Wake up, James.”

the situation was absolutely horrible — dreadful even.  of all the people for bruce to be stuck in this escalated hostage situation with, it had to have been him.  bond.  james.  the fool he may or may not be in a complicated relationship with but what’s worse is that the other is a spy.  one that relies far and few on skill and talent but raw luck.  something bruce didn’t believe in — despite how often and how much he’d been involved in and with magic or the like, he simply couldn’t, didn’t believe in it.  it was easier, better, to live with his numbers, facts, science.

     ❛ please, tell me that at the very least you happen to have your pen with you. ❜  bruce said, in a voice simultaneously quiet and urgent, to the man dressed in vacation wear.

james does the cooking and j’onn is a neatfreak so he’ll tidy up and do dishes and stuff around the apartment

jonn literally started buying food FOR james when james started sleeping over at j’onn’s earth apartment, so now j’onn’s fridge is stocked with like 90% certified James Food and 10% milk for his oreos

sometimes j’onn tunes into James’ Theme Music Brain(tm) as like a telepathic radio channel just bc its comforting. he lieks it. he thinks its neat . he loves listening to james and the way he composes Theme Music in his weirdo brain, bc jonn is also a weirdo 

j’onn gets a little worried when james up and disappears without warning so they make out a system where james at least leaves A Note before he goes on a mission

James has the incredible ability to sneak up on J’onn where many cannot , possibly due to his theme song brain becoming like, white noise when he wants it to or just maybe because j’onn trusts him 

j’onn is very good with his hands and will give james some back massages when he comes home feeling Sore, and will also Dote Over Him in case of any injury or illness

infodump city babey! sometimes j’onn gets stuck rambling abt some of his obscure interests while james is just :) back at him 

sometimes they show up to socialite gatherings (undercover) together just to Fuck It Up and  be the best looking couple there. also j’onn helps with recon & gathering intel sometimes. but mostly he’s just there to be James Date(tm)
