I've seen worse. I've also seen men die from worse, so let me look at it.

it took everything within herself to not lash out , to recoil and tend to this injury herself but that requires strength . strength that she does not presently have . gash upon back oozes blood , staining white tank worn , long since lost it's use . “  what’s  worse :     watching  something  unfold  and  not  having  any  control  over  the  situation .  ”     there’s  a  small  pause ,     allowing  room  to  mull  over  the  first  scenario .     “  or  having  the  ability  to  do  something  about  it  but  choosing  not  to  get  involved .  ”     such  a  weighty  question  to  ask  a  woman  she  barely  knows .     however  that  is  exactly  why  she’s  asking  it  in  the  first  place .     mia  had  a  subtle  way  of  drawing  information  out  of  someone ,     even  as  innocently  as  a  weighted  question .     you  see   ...     you  can  tell  a  lot  about  someone  in  how  they  choose  to  answer  a  question     (  and  it  didn’t  even  need  to  be  a  specific  one .  )     within  her  good  graces  however ,     she  offer’s  her  answer  first ,     “  i  think  the  first  would  be  worse ,     though  both  are  equally  as  bad  as  the  other .     however  at  least  i  have  the  mind  to  help  if  i  could .  ”     damn  her  compassionate  nature   ...
