Dark Moments
They've come without a warning
Slowly creeping into my life
And now i'm asking myself every morning
When did they start to become so rife?
I didn't even noticed them at first,
Never believed I'd think of them as a curse:
Those few seconds of doubt and anxiety?
They were just part of my emotional variety.
I belittled them, called them insignificant
and lowered my shield
Little did I know
What danger they've concealed.
With the time they've grown darker,
Becoming meaner and sharper.
And what once was just a moment
Turned into a constant opponent.

Open When... You’re Doubting Yourself!
Oh come on..... really? You’re doubting yourself? okay first off, you shouldn’t be doing that. You are without a doubt, one of the smartest, sweetest, and most beautiful people I know. Don’t you ever let anything or anyone make you question that (even yourself). But I do get where you’re coming from and I honestly doubt myself more than I probably should as well... so alright, listen--
I know this is always a tough thing to deal with and I don’t know what’s going on at this current time to make you feel this way, or even what kind of doubt you’re dealing with, but here’s a quote I’ve always liked:
“Don’t change so people will like you. Be yourself and the right people will love the real you.”
I honestly believe that and the whole yknow, “don’t let society ruin you” kind of stuff. And I believe in you. I believe you are stronger than you think you are and sometimes I think you just need someone to tell you that. You are valuable and powerful and deserving of every chance and opportunity in this world to pursue and achieve your dreams.
Be a bird.
What? Yea, you heard me. Be a bird. A bird sitting in a tree is never afraid of the branches breaking because its trust is not in the branch but on its own wings. Always believe in yourself. Be a bird. Remember that. Remind yourself... and go around flapping your arms like wings if you have to! And yea-- people are probably going to think you’re weird, but honestly who gives a shit? It’s okay to be weird because weird people make life interesting, and those other people probably suck anyways. So be a birb and just remember:
progress is progress no matter how small. I love you! I believe in you! And I am always, always, ALWAYS here for you, Lisa. Forever and ever.
Hi Allison, I was wondering if you and Spirit might have any advice on what to do when you feel like you're losing faith in your own intuition? I've been experiencing a lot of synchronicities, and this deep sense of knowing in regards to a specific situation, but nothing that my intuition has told me about has actually come to be yet. I'm starting to worry that I'm just telling myself stories about what I want to happen, rather than Spirit giving me actual signs and messages.
Good Morning Lovely Anon ♥
I know exactly what you are going through. We’ve all been there, at that place of losing faith in our own unique spiritual connection, at one time or another. There are a few things that I have found helpful in bringing my focus back to what’s truly important:

so, I don't have any mental disorders, at age 6+ i was very confident in myself and what i wanted to do. and now that am about to graduate, i feel like nothing i do has any real impact (as in if i say something will be of great value to me it will turn out it wasn't and that it's, in the grand scheme of things, nothing) i feel like am only watching from a capsule everything that's happening and that failure at ths moment is so likely. i have lost confidence in myself and my abilities... advice?
Heyfriend,
Youdon't have to have mental disorders in order to doubt yourself! Somany people doubt themselves at one point or another, and many peoplewho are about to graduate definitely feel that way! I know I feltthat way when I was about to graduate.
Iknow this might not be very comfortable to hear, but not many of ushave a noticeable impact on the world around you. The world is solarge, and there are many of us on this planet. What you do or don'tdo on a daily basis isn't going to impact the entire world right now. However, what you do in your life will impact the people immediatelyaround you, and will make a noticeable impact on your immediatesurroundings. The people closest to you are definitely impacted bywhat you do with your life, evenif it's hard to see.
Anotherthing that helps me is realizing that if I give up now, I amguaranteed to fail completely. But, if I try, there is a chance Iwill succeed.
Beingafraid of failure is something that we've learned as a society thatisn't actually very helpful. Part of succeeding is failing on theway. Honestly, the only way you've failed completely is if you giveup and don't keep trying.
Onething I do is to just try. I know it can be hard, but even if I'm notconfident, I do my best to give it a go anyways.
Ihope this makes sense and can be helpful to you! Hang in there, andknow that you'll do great things with your life. It can take a whileto get there, but keep trying and I know you'll get there!
