Can't believe the news about #DougBanks. Through the #radio he literarily became an extended member of my family. I still remember when him and #BonnieDeshon came to speak at #EmmanuelChristianSchool's career day when I was in the 5th grade and the IMPACT that had on me as a young black male in #Chicago. I always looked up to him. He was always genuine, always funny, always a voice you looked forward to hearing. You truly will be missed brother. {April 11, 2016} Rest in Peace Doug Banks

I’m sad to learn about the passing of Doug Banks, a long-time syndicated radio personality and one of a hand full of inspirations for me as far as getting into radio. I’m extending my thoughts and prayers to his family & friends at this time. His voice will be missed. An all-time great.
