It was often seen as selfish, and in a way, it is. But in the past, Carley wasn't one to put her own needs before others. Much of her time was spent tending to something for the good for somebody else. But now, things were different. Of course it was right to help those around her, and still, she does. However, it's a much more dangerous life to live in that fashion. Carley wants to take time to get her own priorities sorted out, and protect herself.
