Yayyyy, let’s talk ships <3 Did you have any ideas in mind? :D
"Good Morning Lover!"
"I don't know what you did with the sonic, love, but that was the best night I've ever had!"
(Across Clara's.. ahem.. endowments in entirely washable ink.) "Om nom nom."
"Cheeky man," I muttered, smirking. "You're gonna help me wash this stuff off, you know."
“Excuse Me”
27. Rescuing a kitten from a well.
"Oh! Doctor, what on earth are you doing here?” I held up a soggy little ginger kitten. “One of my kids at Coal Hill lost their kitten down this well. Just fishing it out for them.”
That Ol' Black Magic
"Lemme see... hair done, black dress... perfect. The husband won't be able to resist me, and maybe we'll find more than one naughty use for that bowtie!"
Obituary
Eulogy
She’d left the recording on the TARDIS databanks, just in case, with the stipulation that it would played at the Doctor’s funeral. They’d both known the future when they reached Trenzalore, but it didn’t mean it didn’t hurt to be parted in such a way, and so soon.
So she’d prepared for it.
”You called me the Impossible Girl,” she’d begun. “When we first met, and I had no idea why. But then I spent so much time with you, and learned about you, all the while, not realising you were trying to learn about me.
”Even if your methods were a bit unorthodox - Seriously, spying on me while I’m standing at my mother’s grave? What were you thinking?
”I had no idea you’d fallen in love with me, too. Well, one of my echoes at first, and then with me. It was weird, but… I think I fell for you because of my echoes. They loved you first, then I did, but then they loved you because of me, and… I think I’m gonna stop there cause now I’m getting a headache trying to make sense of it.
”Trenzalore. It was Trenzalore that made me properly realise how hard I’d fallen, you know. The first time. The future one. Watching you die, in the middle of your tomb, it made something click inside me. I loved you, the entire time we’d been together, even if I hadn’t shown it as much, early on.”
There was a pause in the recording, and a muffled sob.
”If you’re listening to this… Well, if this is playing at your funeral, then I’m probably at home. I… I don’t even get to say goodbye in person… Or tell you I love you, one last time.
”I… I don’t know how to end this recording, and I don’t even know if it’ll be played. I can only hope that it does.
”And if this is my last chance to say it… Run, you clever boy, and remember me.
”I love you.”
☯Getting you out of that case during the Crimson Horror.
Under Glass
Stillness. That’s all I knew. I had a sense of what was happening around me, but I wasn’t able to interact with anything at all. I knew I was sitting, and I knew I was enclosed in glass, like I was under one of those glass covers they put over fancy meals, like pheasant.
I could only wait. I was paralysed, preserved by whatever Mrs. Gillyflower was using on her pilgrims. Whatever she’d used on the Doctor and me. My body might’ve been immobile, but my mind still worked. It was all I had until the Doctor ran into the little house I was kept in. I could’ve sworn he’d been cast off as one of the rejects, but no, he was here, and alive.
I was alive, too, if you can call being preserved and inside a glass case alive. There’d been a look of both horror and relief at my fate, as far as I could tell, on the Doctor’s face, as he desperately tried to break the glass. In the end, he turned to a chair, and the glass rained down all around me, shattering under the impact as the chair hit the enclosure.
Within moments, I was pulled from the chair, and carried away.
Clara Oswald was under glass no more.
