i am confused friend please explain: who are hey violet and why are 5sos fans hating on them??????

Hey Violet are a band which 5SOS signed to their record label and have announced are their opening act for their Rock Out with Your Socks out tour.

People have been hating on them since they got announced, I think at the beginning it was jealousy bc the band consists of a bunch of girls but idk its escalated today it seems. They’re hating on the band for their music, their appearance, pretty much everything and apparently some of the members used to be in another band under a different name and they kicked the lead singer out of the band and now everyone is acting like they’re satan.

and like for me, I can say kicking someone out of a band is a disgusting thing to do, but its something thats happened time and time again with bands so doesn’t surprise me or effect me. If you don’t know the band personally like you can’t say who was at fault. There’s been bad history and negativity in most bands in the world for one reason or another and people seem too stupid to realise that and are acting like Hey Violet are the only band with bad history.
